yes. There is a completely different approach mentally. More of a leave it all on the line. Not guaranteed to work, but many pitchers have walked this path.
Whatever is wrong w/ Hunter, it is between the ears. He walked 4 today. 2 had an 0-2 count and another had a 1-2 count. He needs to trust his stuff. If he can get strikes at the beginning of the count, he can the rest of count. Stop changing how you pitch and nibbling just because you get to 2 strikes.
Just tell him the 1st inning is the 3rd. Until there's pitcher's back healthy, he's gonna be in the 6-man rotation unless they have some magical youngster who I do not know about.
