they need to let francis, mobley, and some of the team members have some creative input, since Les Alexander doesn't exactly have much of a clue what's "in-style" these days, as evidenced by the clown/pajama unis he's been holding onto for the past 8 seasons.
I think the Francis jersey looks too similar to the Raptors jersey, but the Mobley jersey is pretty cool. Still, I have to admit, even today I still like the 94-95 white and red jerseys best. They were so simple, so classic, so Rockets. Bring back the Red!
How about burnt orange and white? That's close to red and has yellow mixed in. Yeah. Yeah. That's the ticket.
I think this would be the problem. If the team goes with "fly" uniforms that francisfan4l1f3 thinks are "stylish", I'm afraid that I will be embarassed to wear one. Keep the uniform simple. Not basic, just simple.
Similar name, similar thoughts... I too have seen the grey Yao Ming jersey. It looks awfully similar to some of the designs that were shown right here in this bbs (not pictured in the link above). Its intriguing that they chose the #11 Yao jersey to test out the market for their popularity. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up going with the same design scheme for our new unis. Can't wait to see it in red!
I agree about bringing back the red but I'm not sure about the yellow. Maybe if the red was darker and the yellow was a gold color. Similar to what the Rams did when they changed unis.
I think we should go with a light blue the red color we have, and a grey. We could have red on the sides, with grey lettering and a light blue base. The away could be greyish kinda like the nets had/have with red and blue trim.
this jersey would look better than the ones the rockets are currently wearing. But instead of having rockets written on the front of the jersey, they should have houston written there instead. it would look much better.
really depends on the material they are made from and the quality of the stitching, but my guess is they will feel pretty good!

Two of the jerseys look the same... Two of the jerseys look like the Hornets. One looks like the Spurs. And the other looks like the Blazers.

The same...you meen the ones that are under the same header, because there may be a reason for that. Spurs...got me there. Blazers...I can see what you're saying. I think that you are going into looking at jerseys in a distored mannr, because you can take any jersey idea that may realistically be used and compare it to some team's uni.
