He's got an "I want you" look. Hope he's looking at the NBA Championship trophy.

If Yao is healthy we can reach WCF, and I think we have a chance to beat the lakers if our team is complete and no one is inured.

All the skill and right pieces are there, it all depends on the health of the squad.

To me, every season is special. I can't help but get caught up in the ever-changing story lines and drama. This year we get my favorite player back, Yao, and I really can't wait to see how guys like Martin, Ariza, and the new Brooks play with him. We got Scola and Lowry back in the fold with money in the bank, and we added a reliable guy I've always liked in Brad Miller. Looking forward to seeing what Bud and Patterson can do. And I never thought I'd actually be a fan of a general manager.

I mean, how can you NOT be counting the days 'til preseason? A championship would be amazing, but it's not the only indicator of a successful season in my book. Obviously it's the ultimate goal, but as long as there is hope, I'm hooked.

Well I sure hope so! Lol but yeah for real, IF Yao stays healthy, I see a deep playoff run. Possibly in title contention.

Same here. But I haven't learned anything from it. Eventually, all of the pieces will fall into place and I want to be there when it happens.

I fealt the '97 team with The Dream, The Glide, and the Big Round Mound of Rebound could have gone all the way and taken out the Bulls.

Juck the Fazz. Karl Malone's bearhug on Drexler, Byron Russels out of bounds steal. Damn it. I feel like I just got kicked in the nuts again.

I just can't let it go!

Exactly! Whenever I think back to that series, I remember how dirty the Jazz were (and still are) and it STILL pisses me off!! We deserved that series. We could have went all the way...

i have a positive feeling but its not because of signing the great brad miller, its because of the talent heading east.

melo will be a major distraction this yr for denver,
paul is gone from NO soon,

    kobe,bynum have major injury concerns

portland losing some talent, suns losing amare, spurs getting older and maybe losing parker to knicks.

its like its only 3 teams in west now..lakers,mavs,rockets. and i think we can beat the mavs

I think the Rockets should market a Big 15.

Seriously, you see how all these other teams are saying they have a big 3? Just say we have the big 15, that all of our players are good quality players and that together they are better than your 3 superstars.

You could have left the Thunder out. This very Rockets team has been dominating the Thunder since they moved.

    I always like the optimism.

I wonder what the Rockets' slogan will be this season. "Get Red" isn't the right phrase anymore.

I think we'll shock the league again with our grit...but this time with better results.

I like the sound of that. Evem Morey said it himself this morning on the Jim Rome show that he feels that we have the deepest team in the league.
