I have a feeling the Grizzlies will make the playoffs next year

    I had the same feelings for the Rockets last year. So don't worry they will go away.

    This is not good....because there is still the Supersonics, maybe the Warriors, maybe the Nuggets, maybe the Clippers, maybe the Grizzlies, and maybe the Jazz trying to get in as well........

    Advantage = toss up

    PF:
    Rox - MoT/EG Griz - Swift/Wright
    Advantage = toss up

    C
    Rox - Ming Griz - Gasol
    Advantage = toss up

    Guess what? Our back court is better than theirs and the front court is a wash. Add the fact that we have a better coach and I think the Rockets are better than the Griz. Oh and so are the Sonics, Suns, and Warriors.

    PS: Jerry West is not God.

    Since the Jazz aren't going to make the playoffs, that leaves one new team to be added to the playoffs. Of the remaing teams in the West only 3 have a true shot.

    Houston - New coach, Steve, and Yao. Nuff said.

    Golden State - With Arenas they have a chance, without him they will be lucky to even crack 30 wins.

    Sonics - This team is the closest to the Rockets than any other team. They have Ray Allen, Lewis, and Barry. Those three barely had a chance to play together last year, but they showed a huge improvement by winning more games than they lost.

    All in all, I hope the Suns are number 9 and the Sonics are number 8. Leaving us with number 7.

    Grizzlies make the playoffs in 2004-2005, when Kobe joins them out of frustration from lack of shots b/c Payton and Shaq.
