AMEN!!! I have always hated Walton because it didnt matter who it was or how bad they were beating up on the Lakers, the Lakers were still Gods. Last night I heard him defend us and call out the Lakers. My favorite quote is the one where he said, "this isn't because its the end of a road trip, the Lakers are just getting spanked...." Priceless

My favorite was Gene Peterson blowing KTRH off the air by his ecstatic screaming when Houston won the finals in 94.

With regards to Walton, I really think the joke is on you. I think he makes those kinds of contradictions on purpose. After all, it's one of his signatures as an announcer. People get a kick out of it. I say this because some of the contradictions he makes are just so obvious that I couldn't see a chimp making them much less a human being.

Walton knows what we do. We can go the distance. The Western conference goes six deep now.

I posted the same thing in the game thread..I later heard Walton mention Cato's hands for a third time late in the game and it was then I knew he was being sarcastic.

I HATE Walton, but he was actually partial last night...Althought, if the Fakers would have dominated, it would have been the same ole Walton...

I didn't like the fact that after the game they kept alluding to "this is the last game of a seven game road trip thought"...BS...

The ROX dominated from start to finish...Great game and about time...

I also liked it when NBA Fastbreak were talking about playoff teams that everone should be worried about and they said "Don't forget about the Rockets"....Priceless...

You all just don't understand Bill's sarcasm. He's like Yogi and his Yogisms. Bill is not being stupid or contradictory, he does all that on purpose.

I dont know who it was.. but they also mentioned the Lakers were taking this game very seriously. He noticed it in the lockerroom that the Lakers players were really pumped to play.

I think the Lakers circle a few games on their calendar, and to Houstons credit we are one the teams they try to bring it.

Im glad we played a beautiful game..
