What's pathetic ? The thread ? Or you ? ------------------ "Roses are red. Violets are blue. I'm a schizophrenic and so am I."

WTF!!! Oh My Holy Hell. I meant read up on the archives, not this thread. Search for the word "Heave". And notice how Clutch only makes single liners that dis Mobley, then he runs out of threads, just like this one.

smeggy, notice how my 4000 obnoxious and childish posts precede me, and I felt compelled to add the smilie above. ugh what I'd give to be a junior member once again to blind side clutch's comments like I did in November last year to his thread Nov '99 when we were 2-10. Bottom Line: Do you trade Hakeem and/or Charles? Oh for the good ole days before people knew me enough to say they are "disappointed in me", "your should know better", "you sound bitter or pouty today" for stirring things up on a board that differentiates itself for stirring things up. Oh for the days of anonymity. Take advantage of these days Merlin while you are still young. The home of Rabid fans...loud, proud, and original. Clutch...I know the above thread was editorial. Just bringing it back to show dylan and Merlin how junior members can stand on their own while being dissed by even admins. intelligent jabbing is the spice of cc.net, thanks to Clutch. hence the "Disgusting" title for the Clippers recap quoted in Sports Illustrated. Clutch has created monsters in some of us. Release the hounds!! [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited March 01, 2001).]
HP, what a great thread, what was your post count back then, it only has your 4million on it now. How bout Tod the Bods views wonder if he stil feels the same way now??? Smeg ------------------ CUT Tino These Heaves are just getting Ridiculous!
i was probably at 30 or thereabouts. I joined at the beginning of the season. Note that in the midst of that thread, CBFC decided to do his now most famous positive thread that we all love so well: "Great Time to Be a Rocket Fan, No Really". I remember having to push that back to the top to help it get its deserved responses. Anyhow, I mean only to revisit that thread to show the Great One, Dylan and anyone else who says "lay off newbies" to show how newbies just need to read up and have a take to avoid threads like this. And maybe not start a thread until you feel comfortable, ie just respond to others. Hell, my very first thread was my first post and it was anti referendum based on the view of a season ticket holder and I took an absolute beating. Did anyone say, "take it easy on the newbie". NO. And I never expected it. [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited March 01, 2001).]
dude German Rocket had a freaking crystal ball! talking about rebuilding with hakeem, not barkley, trade the wizard and drew, keep everyone else . . . ------------------
You know, I hate to get back on topic, but I was going to start a thread related to this. My question was "Would it be fair to keep Shandon after this season?" I know the guy can play the 3, but he really is a 2, and a damn good one at that. Due to the chemistry of Francis and Cuttino, NO WAY do I trade Cat. Granted, he could be more efficient, but the guy can score more or less at will. I love Shandon's experience and his defense, but I can't help but feel that his offense could be so much more on another team. I would love it if he wanted to stay. His defense and experience is incredibly valuable to this team. But I really couldn't blame him if he wanted out, either. I don't think anyone really counted on Cuttino emerging the way he has, otherwise I doubt we would have gotten Shandon so easily. So do ya'll think he would be happy staying here? Bottom line: would it be fair to keep him? ------------------ "We got f*cking smashed every day. And then when we came here to Beverly Hills, we had drugs, we had chicks, we had orgies. Doctor Robert, I'm pretty sure this belongs in the masturbation forum. If that's the case, I'm the only one truly qualified enough to be the Admin. ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
Damn, Bob, you brought this thread back for that? ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS
Pole, you've got the nickname for it, but I'm not going to let you in on it that easy. You'll have to be the comedic sidekick.
