I Hate KG, Do You?

I stopped reading after you basically said you can respect Kobe's game, but not KG.

 

I love Kevin Garnett. I love this guy, he really has a big heard and I have always loves his work ethic. He is one of better power forwards in the history of the NBA and probably top 5 right now.

But the only thing i don't like about his game is that he become a jumpshooter. Yes he can hit those but for example in finals series - he took a lot of bad jump shoots. This guy is a monster inside, he should attack the rim more often because there are not many guys in the NBA that can cover him

 

I hope the people that hate KG, aren't the same ones that love Kobe.

 

kg is the most athletically gifted 7 footer in history. he has the ability to cover every single position on the floor - and has done so effectively. he can be - and has been - the absolute centerpiece of man to man defenses and zones. he is, simply put, without peer in defensive versatility. the only one close to me (in versatility) is rodman, but he wasn't as effective on pgs and centers.

he is also the consummate robin, offensively. he falls in love with the outside game too much at the wrong times, but no one cab deny hus ability out on the wings and even out to the 3pt line. in the paint, his extreme length and high release point make him a force inside. passing is no stranger to him either (in fact, more of a friend than it should be), as he sees the floor incredibily.

do I hate kg? if so, it's only because he has the natural ability to be possibly the greatest player ever, but lacks the killer instinct to fully realize that potential. that said, I love his intensity and abilities. can u imagine kg and tmac on the same team with a deadeye killer shooter with icewater veins?? scary.

for all the yrs in minny with 1 good supporting cast & never complaining, he gained my respect forever. he just kept bringing it, every night. so now that he's on top of the mountain, I am elated for him. way to go, kg! you found your way, with a complete team, to the nba summit...

 

He plays with intensity.

 

i liked him in minni but now that hes in boston and they won he thinks hes the **** i hate him now i was hoping hed never win a title but oh well now that was his first and last ...

 

Dream? Admiral? Come on man......

 

And what is wrong with that?

 

Dream nor David Robinson could realistically play the 3-spot......

 

Because KG is the epitome of team player. Plays some of the best defense you can find, grabs a ton of rebounds and can also stroke the midrange jumper......

My question has less to do with KG but more to do with whats wrong with someone liking Kobes game over KG's game.

 

I lost my respect for KG right when he got traded when people rave about KG I get pissed and the Michael Jordan praise that's a load of BS Michael had one more star player and it was Scottie while Boston has 3? ain't that a..

 

I think I get the gist of what you're saying although... proofreading is your friend.

No one says KG is the best of all time. He does have a ring though which many other great players have failed to do, even when shacking up with other greats.

Huh, it kind of seems like an accomplishment. Wierd right? But yeah BOOOOOOOO hatehatehate.

That is the exact moment that I began rooting for the Lakers (Ugh) or really more against the Celts - I was rooting for Atlanta, Cleveland and Detroit. How sad! But, dang man you can't act like an immature bully and take your frustrations/revenge out on some punk with 1/2 your talent.

kg is a punk. period.

just like the mailman is garbage.

i don't care how good their games are.

 

Did you watch the Finals? He did alot of great things, And he was obviously a huge impact player that was on the team that won the championship. He really did'nt even have to impose his will because the Celtics just dominated from start to finish..........

 

Comparing him to Karl Malone is blasphemy.....

Kevin Garnett is a great human being, just ask Bill Russel

Karl Malone on the other hand, not so much
