i don't like belts at all. i know they are in style now for girls, but i'm just not a fan. i bought one brown and one black one back in 98 when i was working at the gap thinking they'll last me. they sure have, but mostly b/c i've worn them less than 20 times each in the last 11 years. ;)

if i can go without ever wearing a belt again, i'd be happy. luckily i don't "need" them to keep my pants up....no gut here.

I'll pay a little extra for a real leather belt. I remember being at work one day and was standing talking to a coworker. My belt just popped. :D I wasn’t even wearing it tight...I’m not a huge guy either....it was just a cheap belt. My coworker laughed his ass off and was telling me to take my cheap Target bought belt back. Since then I’ve purchased 3 nice belts that have lasted years. ;)

Ties suck worse than belts. At least belts have a practical use, ties are just stupid.

I hate when I gain weight and I have to use an extra notch on my belt. I feel like a ******, thanks to my belt.

I've had the same cheap belt for years with no problems. I don't remember where I bought it or for how much. Knowing me, it must have been less than $20. I also don't think I've ever really had a bad belt. The worst problem I've had is the outer veneer becoming too worn to look good.

Thank you - nothing more stupid than a tie.

Well hey, why not wear t-shirts and jorts at work?

I mean, it's summertime, what's the purpose of a long sleeve button up?
