Update - I found a 30 gig Zune, brand new, on eBay for $110 so I jumped on that deal. Will probably be here sometime next week, I imagine. In the meantime, I will need to get familiar with a tutorial on how to do things with the Zune since I heard no manual comes with it. I am thinking about calling SquareTrade and paying for the 2 year warranty as it less than $15.

Why not just read the manual? It's not that difficult, sir.
:( How sucky can it be, man? We don't have the problems you're having.

Are you sure it's completely lost? There are services out there that will fix your iPod. I'll buy it from you if you think you don't want it anymore.

    Swoly,

You quoted my post and asked a question that was already answered in the post you quoted! Re-read what you quoted again and it will answer your first question.

It's not a theory. I tested it myself and I can assure you.

 OK, I gotcha. Sorry about that. It doesn't come with a manual... but you can still download it and read it. I understand it takes "less time" to view a tutorial, but... read it inside out... so you know what to do if something like what happened to your iPhone would happen to your Zune (knock on David Wood  ). Good luck, yo. Enjoy your new toy. So... selling the old iPhone, or no?

So, you downloaded songs from iTunes without paying for them? And because you got busted, you think everyone else that has an iPod and a lot of songs in their library have done the same thing? Mmkay - interesting theory but it is what it is - a theory and one that has no basis in fact. You coming back with one to two liner posts doesn't do anything in the effort to validate your theory, it just makes you look like a troll (and a successful one in that as you have gotten me to respond back to you every time but I am done responding to you unless you have more substenance to your posts which will be doubtful).

Probably my iPod crapped out on me because I had dropped it inadvertently 3 times in the past week, not due to any songs being in the library that were downloaded "illegally" from the iTunes store.

    Swoly,

I never had an iPhone and wouldn't want one to be honest with you. I had a 120 gig iPod classic and am currently using my old 60 gig iPod classic that I had given to my wife.
