that is definitely one of my favorites. there is a scene a few episodes after that where they are trying to figure out guillermos last name and laslo calls him "mickey guillermo"...so hilarious.

if anyone reading this has not watched "what we do in the shadows" then you need to get on that ASAP. i didnt even know this show existed six weeks ago and last night i finished the series. saw the movie too. its one of the best, funniest tv shows ive ever seen.

im totally gay for the actress who plays nadja. i find her very attractive. and she is so good on that show.

 

I grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh. It was a steel mill town. It use to smell terrible. When that smell went away, so did the jobs. My hometown is literally 1/4 the size from when I grew up

South Hills suburbs in Allegheny were surprisingly cheap rent-wise when I moved there a few years back; less than $1,000 for two bedrooms and a washer / dryer connection. An hour or so into Market Square / Downtown on the 51. Although the town itself wasn't very apartment friendly as I had to fill out some weird "Single Occupancy Permit" with the county before move-in. The woman at the leasing office was dumber than dental paste though, never in my life have I had to bring separate cash and ****ing change for a move-in because the moron calculated the pro-rated one day short. I didn't necessarily enjoy having to open a new bank account because license and registration only takes physical checks, and you have to get it at these third party places rather than the state DMV.

Life-sized Franco Harris Immaculate Reception statue between the escalators at the airport, and no takeout service of any kind on Super Bowl Sunday even if the Steelers aren't in it. But pizza in the northeast(ish) coming from anywhere else in the country, god damn. Be sure to get your Giant Eagle card or you can't use the self-checkout.

 

No problem, Clairton in the South Hills. Pretty rough place now. It wasn't great when I was growing up but has gotten worse now. It's still home however. I still follow the Bears football and basketball teams

Living in MN it's hard to avoid Iowans. I dated someone from Iowa and she was a hippy chick but was from Iowa City where U of Iowa is so that might not count.

I do know a woman from Iowa who is a big time tease so maybe there is something there.

Yeah Nadja is great and is really the center of the show all of the greatest stuff is playing off of her IMO.

She is a great actress, I need to see her in more stuff.
