i always loved freebirds but then went to chipotle once and have been a chipotle convert. the freebirds bbq sauce rules all but the meat and other stuff just has too strong a taste, to where i'm practically sick of it by the time i finish the burrito. whereas with chipotle the carnitas are (is?) great and the white rice is great and i could eat it all day.

oh, and a burrito bol is quality. you get less calories b/c the tortilla has quite a few and, more importantly, you can mix everything together. the way they roll the burrito the beans, rice, and meat all get separated to where you basically just get one or the other in any given bite. with the bol you can mix it all together yourself.

Agreed. What Chipotle/Freebirds should do is mix all the **** together in a bowl and then throw it in the tortilla. That way, you don't have a bite of lettuce and then a bite of meat and so on.

exactly. or at least attempt to mix it a little on the tortilla. it would slow things down a tiny bit on the assembly line but i'm not asking for perfect mixing, just a few seconds of mixing to get more than 3 distinct layers.
