I have heard that the trading oil with Iran thing was controvercial, and that Rich probably could have disputed that. However, the racketeering and tax evasion cases were supposed to be pretty solid. The man certainly has enough money that he could have fought the cases if they were so flimsy. Clinton should have allowed the courts to take care of it -- but they never had the chance. Perhaps if he hadn't fled the country to avoid trial, they would have. ------------------ Stay Cool...
