Did not know that. One thing about Love you guys don't know... He will be a decent shot blocker. He gets blocks the same way Battier does. You'll see. Eventually.
I guess you could say the Jefferson trade was better because Mchale got a good young potentially franchise player back. Besides, the trade gave him their lottery pick back, which Mchale traded away for either Jaric or Sebastian Telfair or another scrub, I forgot (major LOLOLOLOL). So you could say that garnett trade gave them Gomes, Jefferson and Love, along with the other players I forgot, plus another pick. Compare that with the Gasol trade, wherein all they got was Crittenton (whom they shipped away for another pick), Kwame Brown and Gasol. That's the real highway robbery trade IMHO, the Bull's best offer was waaaay better than that (pick, Noah, Thomas + some combination of Gordon and Deng). When talking about failed Gms in the league, I'd say McFAil is about level with that Bobcock dude and Elgin Baylor(probably along with Robert Sarver and MJ)in incompetency and stupidity. Seriously, why does this guy still have a job? LOL
McHale is human and has made mistakes, but he did draft kg,marbury, wally, to name a few. People will whine he traded kg, but kg had 2 lotto seasons in a row. He's constructing the front court like utah. Boozer-okur with jefferson-love. He needs to parlay miller into a you talent combo. They were playing pretty good till jefferson went down.
Rondo wasn't very good at all prior to the trade for KG and Allen. Put Telfair into the starting line up with Allen, KG and Pierce and Telfair becomes a star. Also the Celtics ended up throwing in Gomes, Gerald Greene as well to build upon. The offer is only more attractive in hindsite because how Rondo has played with the big 3.
