I genuinely want Reed to have a breakout year

Reed has great instincts, but I dont know how patient the Rockets front office will be with his growth since we acquired KD...where we are with our timeline, Reed is starting to look more like a tradeable asset and not a prospect on our team. We need to get Reed as many reps as possible to increase his trade value to get a more "true point guard".

    You'd be surprised.

Some 'fans' will root against their own player just so they can say "I'm Right!" on a message board.

Seems silly to me. Now, nothing wrong with predicting a player to fail or bust and reacting to what is happening. I think many people get confused by that.

If you see a player failing over and over again and you say it, that's simply reporting on reality.

At the end of the day though. Reed just hasn't played enough for me to really know what he's capable of. I think offensively, there is a lot of potential there.

Defensively? I see some red flags...but even still...some pure offensive PGs have pretty bad defense because of their size.

There really is not much to do about it other than waiting and seeing what he has.
