That Bow Flex ad is misleading. It leads you to believe that you will lose major weight by just hitting the weights aka Bow Flex system. Its not really true. You need to incorporate lots and lots of cardio in order to cut fat.
Because it is not true. There is no way of women gaining serious muscle without the use of artificial testosterone (aka anabolic steroids). But women still think this way, I have seen at every gym I have ever worked out at. You rarely see any women in the weights section.
I think that depends on what you consider "serious muscle". Some women aren't interested in muscle definition at all, they just want to stay healthy, so they just do a few strength exercises. Either way, it doesn't sound obnoxious to me, maybe ignorant.

That tells you that I'm not working out in the weights section at your gym. It's HARD to get serious muscles. I just figured I have to do lots of cardio to cut fat to see my lean muscles. I HATE cardio.
