Yao will play because he is one of the most efficient players in the league. doesn't act like a diva, and works harder than anyone else. Not to mention when Yao is healthy, he is arguably the best center in the league. Are you so foolish to think that the Rox want Yao simply b/c of Chinese endorsements? I love RA and agree with OP that he didn't kneal before a star player. However, he could have handeled it better for the Rockets future: 1. he should slowly increase TMac's minutes to highten his value 2. take those minutes from Ariza who wouldn't get this attitude "he is star in the making". Which you can see in his eyes (nothing bad, it's just that it's not gonna happen) From the game perspective, he is the best. Opponents never know what hit them.

What is the money have to do with the Rockets don't wanting to play him? Is the other way around, T-Mac is the one who want's to earns his money but Rocket decided to let 23 mil sit on the bench. So if T-Mac takes a pay cut will Les charge less for the tickets, will the beer cost less? No. Stop this "Oh he makes to much money blabla". A ton of people makes good money out of this players.
