Yao will play because he is one of the most efficient players in the league. doesn't act like a diva, and works harder than anyone else. Not to mention when Yao is healthy, he is arguably the best center in the league.

Are you so foolish to think that the Rox want Yao simply b/c of Chinese endorsements?

(I'm having trouble sifting through the rest of ur statements)

Great. If he's still a better offensive player than Landry, Brooks and Scola then savy GMs will be lining up to acquire him. With an expiring contract too! What a bargain. I can't wait for the offers to come pouring in.

Adelman + DM = 0 championships ever what has anyone of them ever did like seriously they put a competitive team on the floor big whoop they are all proffessionals they should be competitive but if you think this team will ever do something you are seiously delusional until the MIT geek and Loyola graduate do something let me know If you can route for those two guys i am starting a petition for Mr Aleexander. After these losers fail hire clutch and DD with DD extensive knowledge of basketball and stats and such a keen observer they could probably do the same thing the current coasch and GM are doing for a cheaper price because its obviously about making money

Les Alexander is the Dan Synder of the NBA.
It just does not work like that

You can work as hard as you want but Yao body will never let him play a full season not to mention he is not getting any younger

I love RA and agree with OP that he didn't kneal before a star player.
However, he could have handeled it better for the Rockets future:
    1. he should slowly increase TMac's minutes to highten his value
    2. take those minutes from Ariza who wouldn't get this attitude "he is star in the making". Which you can see in his eyes (nothing bad, it's just that it's not gonna happen)

From the game perspective, he is the best. Opponents never know what hit them.

Yeah, poor TMac ... meanwhile he keeps drawing his $22.4M salary this year without a complaint. The rest of the guys are doing the winning with their paltry salaries while TMac is doing the whining on his giant salary. PLEASE ... he doesn't win any respect from me.

Agree to a salary cut, then we'll talk. In the meantime he's just a leech.

I also congratulate Coach Adelman for standing up to TMac. I do hope the media guys see sense this year and vote him Coach of the Year. It's long overdue.

Wow. A T-Mac fan is going to use the "They haven't won anything" argument? Gee, I wonder what type of responses he's opening himself up for?

What is the money have to do with the Rockets don't wanting to play him?

Is the other way around, T-Mac is the one who want's to earns his money but Rocket decided to let 23 mil sit on the bench.

So if T-Mac takes a pay cut will Les charge less for the tickets, will the beer cost less? No. Stop this "Oh he makes to much money blabla". A ton of people makes good money out of this players.
