The fans will be tired of Yao when he starts throwing his teammates under the bus and becomes an overall distraction for the team as Tracy has over these last two years (this won't happen btw). Yao will be in a similar situation recovering from an injury and attempting to re-integrate with a scheme no longer built around a half-court offense, his bread and butter.

The Rockets have received jack and squat so far on the Yao/McGrady investment, however I have a feeling Yao will not behave the same way as Tracy has in his comeback bid. That will make a big difference in how things play out.

yes, and i think that is a big reason why we are where we are now - the proverbial leash was put on way too late. the organization let t-mac dictate everything last year and this year they clamped down.

i respect adelman even more based on the way he (and the team overall) has handled mcgrady.

He must have certainly contributed with stellar defensive stops then, right? The guys is a better all-around player than Kobe, as some have stated, so certainly he put his own stamp on each and every game in some way, didn't he?

True, so we might as well get rid of Yao also if we're using these kinda stats to prove Tracy is not the best for the team. The fans on here don't want to talk about this though.

The difference is that Houston will play Yao no matter the chemistry or the style of game etc. becuase he is their future plans. Yao will not complain becuase he will get playing time. Yao can opt out so he will have guarantee playtime or bye bye or the Chinese endorsement.

Or do you think if Yao is ask, Yao you will only get 7 minutes a game becuase your are not on our future plan, forget about resign it him.

T-Mac was never on Houston plans this year so, is not T-Mac asking to be trade but the organization force in him. Houston wants Yao and his $$$, Houston wants T-Mac and his expiring contract big difference.

Please, You're talking about the coach who actually played Cwebber, one of the biggest loser in BB history in the similar situation. Now it's owner/management decision and they think TMac is done and wanted to move him.

Rockets believed that Tmac was special but not anymore. So Rockets want to dump him. That's all. Don't blame Tmac for his wrong talk. because Rockets organization (the owner and management) are much lower.

He learned from it. The biggest problem last year for RA was he left star players on the court when they played like garbage, afraid of hurting their ego. This year, he leaves whoever played well on the court more.

Everyone could read between lines, So why couldn't Tracy or his fanboys?
How many times has Tracy lead the team down the garden path? He should have know this was coming. What go's around comes around. Bam!! Have some humble pie Tracy.

you mean . . the one he ADMITTED was a mistake on his part for playing?

    Rocket RIver
so he should duplicate a mistake to appease the MAC-onians?

    that's funny!
use last season when TMac played hurt

then imply that the record was a reflection of the play of one player

the only reason TMac is being traded is because either Adelman, Morey, Alexander or some combination do not want him on the roster for personal reasons

unless he is re-injured right this moment he is a better offensive player than anyone else on the roster

he sucks on defense though :)

It would be nice to see what Adelman could do with a roster full of healthy guys. Obviously it's hard to keep the whole team healthy but the people making the most money on the team has always been hurt at some point while Adelman has been coaching and he has still kept us in contention for a playoff seed from 1-5.

well, leslie and t-mac may still be buddies but if the coach, gm and team don't like t-mac and t-mac does want to be traded to another team there's little their friendship can do to stop it.

Sure leslie can say "no, you can't trade mac, he's my bro" but then adelman can simply say, "ok, but he can hang out with you in your sky box cause he ain't gonna be on the bench wit me!"
