I got those stats from ESPN.......and no..Tmac did not have a 22 game winning streak..Yao played in the first 12 of those, and won his last 16 games that year before injury.

Sorry that your man is turning into Alan Houston......

You do realize that Yao played in about half of those games right? Yao went down in the middle of that streak. What is with T-Mac nut sack huggers rewriting history?!?

I agree that Adelman's biggest leverage is the team. If the team really sucked this year, how do you think he would handle McGrady?

47-25 in the last two years without Tracy.

That is a 53+ win pace....

    WITHOUT McGrady.

but if T-mac isn't the solely responsible for the streak, he would have nothing, zippo, void, zero. So sad :(

Let's face it folks, Tracy gifted us 8 PO wins. That's like 2 first round advancement in 3 years!

    Facts:
    - T-Mac has never gotten past the first round on any team he has been on
    - Rockets went to the 2nd round without T-Mac
    - Rockets players don't care about T-Mac's situation (they said this multiple times that they don't care about the drama and will just go out there and do their jobs)
    - Rockets are winning without T-Mac and Yao
    - T-Mac causes drama for every team he has been on

Well than 16 games straight did that mean Yao need it to go by them?

Why used last two season as a measure point, when he was injured last year and this year had only played 7 minutes a games (6-2 record).

Why not bring the wining streak, why no bring the awful this team was without him before,
Or when Yao went down, this team with T-Mac made the playoff vs the odds ot the media.
Or vs the Jazz in the playoof that year T-Mac was there to show up for the Rockets went Yao was not there and Alston was in and out with and injury, Battier played injured and Rookie Aaron had to run this team for stretches.

Why not bring that this last two year Aaron have become a beast, Landry a beast, Yao and Ron where part of the last year team. Or do you think this team can past the first round or take Lakers to 7 without Yao, T-Mac or Ron and Ariza take the majority of the shoots?

Hey we have done well without Chase maybe we can trade him too.

This with T-Mac, without T-Mac is BS, T-Mac and Yao have won 75% of the games, too bad we couldn't get them together becuase the injuries. But if you said Houston have been successful without T-Mac this can be applied to Yao too and I don't think you want Yao out of Houston. Or maybe you think so.

I think he would have played TMac more, TMac would have looked just as creaky and past it as he did in his limited minutes, and no one would have cared.

Luckily, this team sucking isn't something we need concern ourselves with. Let's enjoy the rest of the season without caring about TMac.

11 of the 22 games, Tmac didn't lead the Rockets in scoring. I know that's what most t-boys care about anyways.

Well if a Rick Adelman love turn into T-Mac Bash (DD) then what do you want them.

Can we just say how good Adelman is without Bashing other players?

The true is Rick have done it without T-Mac, Yao, Ron, Alston etc. Bashing one to say how good is other is BS. but now everything have turn into T-Mac Bash after he was part of the team and help this franchise went he was here.

Adelman will listen to his players and cater to their needs as long as it does not interfere with the team's interest. What Tracy did last year was complete douche-like. He disrespected the coach and the team and put his interests over the team's.

Adelman had to take a stand and I am glad he did. Most coaches would have caved in. I had always liked Adleman but I have gained a lot more respect for him after his stance against Tracy.

you can babble all you want. he's not coming back.

Rick Adelman's been to the 2nd round, 3rd round and nba finals(twice).
you can't say that about T-mac.

I hope that we just buy him out after the trade deadline ends. If we're going to pay him this money anyway and he isn't with the team, just do it as soon as possible so that we can have an open roster spot, if that is possible.

You mean you love him for the sly and dishonest way he led Tracy McGrady down the Garden path, only to tell him when he was forced to do so, that he was not wanted and there had been no plans or place for him this season? :p

This is what I am wondering about as well. Do they extend an offer at the end of the season or bother with it during the season?
