I used it once for a 4 hour flight. Helped that I was flying on a Sunday morning and they had NFL red zone.
Thank you to everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Personally, I think it was worth it just to get a Poloshirtbandit sighting in my thread.
With airlines offering wifi being more common and almost every individual having some sort of mobile media device(tablet or laptop) always on them on flights, those in cabin multimedia screens are soon going to be extinct. Why would I use them when I can just pop open my laptop with a significantly better screen and watch Netflix, HBO Go, torrented files, Hulu etc?

I read this in my mind as "Is this the naughts?" Is that how most people would read that? Is that the correct way?
Back then, you'd be grateful for the three crappy movies being played on a big projection screen in the middle of the plane, just out of sheer boredom. In comparison, the number of selections nowadays is staggering.
they took away TVs. asked us to use ipads/iphones...now they are putting TVs back in.. I still hate flying. Such a laborious task. The security...the boarding..the finding bin space..the watching idiots come on board with 3 oversized items...the deboarding..the baggage claim..
THIS. And if you couldn't see the projection, then you had those 15 inch CRT monitors every 10 feet or so up the aisles.... Mr Bean, Friends, some soccer / cricket highlights, and a movie or 2.
