House lucked out. He played the best basketball of his life when it counted the most, when he was on a two way contract. House was a legit championship starter that month or two before his contract was extended. Since then he has been what he should have been, an 11th or 12th man at best.
Like yesterday :| yupi was so annoyed when he did it. Like come on dude you’ve barely made one shot and you’re celebrating like you won the game. And every time he makes a mistake he just smirks and smiles. He hasn’t improve in any aspect of his craft and now he is bricking everything. He fakes a bunch of wide open 3s just like Pj. And just like pj they do nothing after they drive or just pass the ball. House is even worse he will pretend to drive take 3 or 4 steps in a dime circle and go back to the spot he was before except by then he is covered. Then he either jacks up a contested 3 or passes the ball, just wasting time off the shot clock.
I think the little bit of money got to his head. To go from a G-leaguer to making $3 Million a year, he probably thought he "made it". Instead of build on that, he wants to rap about driving Maybachs and wearing Versace. Only an idiot who's full of himself would do what he did in the bubble.
Danuel House is getting traded along with P.J Tucker, Victor Oladipo. For Sure. Eric Gordon, John Wall will be tougher to trade, but their Value is better than expected coming into the season. Both are in shape and playing really well. Stephen Silas like Nwaba and Sterling more than House and McLemore. Trade Deadline is Close being 3 weeks away. Gotta build up value of Danuel House, P.J Tucker, Victor Oladipo, Eric Gordon, Maybe John Wall. Mason Jones, David Nwaba, Sterling Brown, Kevin Porter Jr. will all get Minutes after the Trade Deadline.
He is hurt coming back from a back soreness. He injured himself after a Dunk he landed on his feet. Next Day he woke up and has a back injury. That is what Stephen Silas said weeks ago.
He is shooting 34% on the season and 27% from 3 on 5 attempts per game. His -3.5 box plus minus is 2nd worse to Tucker among our 8 rotation players. His plus minus per 100 possessions is -7.5, also 2nd to Tucker. His rebound % and block % are about equal to John Wall. 77% of his makes are assisted which is 3rd to McLemore and Tucker. Yeah, let's keep him in the rotation! Woooo!
Who cares. I thought everyone wanted to lose and tank? So he sucks (and Tucker sucks and Oladipo sucks and everyone sucks), what’s the problem? “Geez, pull House! He’s helping us win too many games!”
From that perspective yes sure, go to town. But I'd rather be playing Mason Jones and Tate/Nwaba more, or [insert any random player we can trade them for and roll the dice on]
He needs a change of scenery or some kind of intervention. Because he has been straight trash this season. His only positive last night was bricking a shot and running back for a nice block. That said, everyone is trash right now. We are shooting SO dismally. We are generating open looks and just straight bricking. House is doing a lot of those bricks but he’s not alone. Problem is he is doing NOTHING else right this season.
Major slump. And for a guy who should have come out on fire to prove himself after the shenanigans of the bubble, he has disappointed greatly.
