You're not doing any harm to other people, only to yourself.

If you lose weight, you will be healthier inside, put less strain on your knees and feet, and will be fit and also, pardon the redundancy, fit into more places that are built for people skinnier than you.

This is not a night-and-day operation. It will take time... but you must first convince yourself that you WANT to lose the weight... that you WANT to feel lighter and healthier... no one can make you do things you don't WANT to do. We are here to help you, man, not to bring you down. You have to start helping yourself.

 In short, you're not a "bad" person, you're just one who is doing damage to your body unless you change some habits.

A wise man once told me: poco a poco se anda lejos (little by little, you get far)

It is of similar difficulty as most other life altering, quality of life increasing feats. The effort to reward ratio might be the best.

You will eventually adjust to reduced caloric intake. The first few days suck but it gets better.
