Like in 95-96 when Seattle was playing zone defense against us the whole series, and the referees would maybe get them for 1 or 2 illegal Defenses per game?

I have heard many a commentary that said Illegal D could have been called almost every possession of that series.

For the most part if its close and there aren't any bad or no-calls at critical junctures of the game, you wont hear much arguing about the officials....

Also, if Dallas wins by double figures, I dont think you will see much on "the refs cost us the game" aspects....

hey Will, how about if the Rox get called for more than 35 fouls this game and Dallas only 18? Will that give us the right to complain?

The right? Sure, if rights are what you care about. What I care about is wins.

I'm not complaining, but the freaking officiating is so oneway, it sad. having said that, the rockets are playing there worst game of the year, in there most crucial game of the year?. irony. guys like sura and wesley will get traded.

We are gonna have to work it back to 5, hold on for dear life, and then win it in the 4th. But we are in striking distance. Mike James should play the whole second half and Padgett should be on the bench.

What about the Tmac NO CALL?? When he had 13 fouls not called when he was getting 10 offensive rebounds under the basket??

i realize if the rockets got michael jordan, they would screw him too.

they'd screwed god if he wore a rockets uniform!!

First order of Business in the offseason. trade Wesley and Sura for a real PG. go after Chandeler or swift. resign Deke and then tweak here and there. but Wesley and Sura are finally being foundout in the playoffs.

Give it up man ... Rockets being down 25 has NOTHING to do with the refs. I hate when people whine when a team is down by 20 something. Even refs are not that good.

I have no problem with the overrall offficiating tonight.
Our teamspeed and lack of a defensive force at the 4 is allowing Howard,Terry, and Sackhouse to get off in this series.

Credit to the Mavs for shooting the lights out.

    BUT..

This really was one of the worst chopjobs by the refs in the playoffs in YEARS.

We've been slighted somewhat in games this series when it mattered, but this was outright murder under the basket by the Mavericks and the officials.

Maybe we wouldnt have won, maybe we would have.. but we never had a chance playing against a Mavericks team with 8 men on the court.

The only emotion I feel more than anger is pride in this team, they didn't take crap from anybody tonight or in this series.

Dallas is a dying franchise, we haven't even scratched the surface of our potential.

    GO ROCKETS

That call on Yao at 11:10 in the 1st turned the whole game. The darn refs stole another one from us!

It became pretty evident early in the 3rd quarter that the refs were not going to call the interior fouls or perimeter shooting fouls the same way on both ends.

The Mavs shot incredibly in the first half, the refs finished the job in the 2nd half.

You can't just say "we lost by 40, there's no way the refs were involved in this loss". We stopped trying in the 4th and the lead ballooned.. ideally i think this was probably an 8 to 12 point loss without such terribly inequitable officiating.

I'm angry that we lost, but i'm FURIOUS that we were never given the chance to compete.
