I still think he will end up staying in Cleveland.

i see what you mean but NJ only has 6 wins so far lebron would look at that and then say "no" to any offers. if the nets could finish the season with like 20 wins i think it could happen. why not washington? because they have a cap space of 40 mil. maybe even miami with 30 something mil. lets see what happens. its gonna be a  summer

Washington? Yeah, Lebron's definitely salivating about playing with Gilbert and a almost completely rebuilding team.

I would say New Jersey is the most likely team to get Lebron in free agency if he leaves, but that's only because I'm about 90% certain he stays in Cleveland. Regardless of how good Lopez/Harris are, that team blows. Even a Lebron-less Cavs team could get more than 5 wins, in the end.

Right now, if I had to say percentages
    90% Lebron stays
    5% New Jersey
    3% Chicago
2 % Everyone else (Lebron isn't stupid, he will never, ever sign with the Clippers, the Knicks are deluding themselves, and any possible sign and trade here)

The Clips are like the Raiders of the NBA. Poor ownership dooms a franchise to mediocrity or worse (sometimes, much worse). That won't change, Lebron or no. I don't know if the Nets or Knicks would be able to surround Lebron with the right pieces, but I'm pretty certain that the Clips wouldn't.

With the Nets deal to move to Brooklyn in limbo for the time being, I'm not sure Lebron would want to wait out the process playing in Newark. If he wants to be in New York, I'd guess he'd choose the team that gives him the ability to play there right away. Both teams have pretty much garbage on their rosters right now, and NY's garbage is having a better season than New Jersey's.

I agree the Nets are in the best position. They could even end up drafting John Wall. Which would mean they could trade Devin Harris for another quality player or a group of quality role players for added depth. Could you imagine if the Nets drafted John Wall, signed Lebron and any of Bosh, Boozer, Amar'e and traded Harris for more depth?

    C- Lopez
PF - Bosh, Boozer or Amar'e
    SF - Lebron
    SG - Courtney Lee
    PG - John Wall

and you have Yi and Douglas Roberts as depth before you even trade Harris for whatever else you need. Brutal.

Everyone keeps talking about New Jersey having a trashy team but that's simply not the case..

This is a decent team in the East. As I said, it's the frame of a car without the engine.

They've been plagued by injuries. Lopez is a ROOKIE. Courtney Lee JUST joined. Coach was fired due to injuries. New ownership. GM became coach. It's a giant mess.

But the pieces are all there and it's SILLY to even compare them to New York. As it stands, Donnie Walsh would swap all his assets for New Jersey's assets without thinking twice. Heck, if he did, he would guarantee a Lebron signing.

Devin Harris. Courtney Lee. Brook Lopez. Top 4 pick.

Rotation players: Yi, Douglas-Roberts, Josh Boone, Terrence Williams, Trenton Hassell, Keyon Dooling, Kevin Humphries, Jarvis Hayes. PLUS a bunch of 12th men.

All in the same age range. You add Lebron James and basically any coach you like. It's a contender. Nevermind that they could probably pick up some awesome veteran depth with a veteran's minimum even.

New York has these guys on the roster: Eddy Curry, Wilson Chandler, Danny Gallinari, Tony Douglas, Bill Walker. That's the ENTIRE roster with NO draft picks coming up. Total of 5 players plus room for 2 MAX free agents. That means New York would have to sign Lebron and Bosh (for example), then sign FIVE MORE PLAYERS to veteran minimum contracts.

It's not even close. Clippers have a good offer. New York is quite fudged IMO. They will come to the realization that they can not sign two max FA's.
