I am always skeptical of stuff like that because it almost always proves to be flawed. Who knows, though. Regardless, I don't need fractals to understand and appreciate Pollock because I know so much about him and AbEx, etc.
A little history on Koons. Went to Art school in Chicago/Maryland, moved to NY to work as a commodities broker for Clayton Brokerage Company, married a pornstar. Not particularly fond of all his pieces, he has his assistants build them and basically replicates preexisting works (kinda like sampling in hip hop), but he's pretty boss for marrying Cicciolina in her prime and suckering a bunch of hedge fund/CEO a$$holes into dropping insane amounts of cash.
