I don't like Yao when he was playing in the China's basketball league(CBA)

    I didn't notice these words when I replied the first time. Those words really irrates me.

    First of all, we don't call ourselves "yellow"; it is an insult to call an ASIAN that way. Yellow in English also means "cowardly".

    Second, if you think you are weaker in body than a black or a white people, please don't think all the Asians are the same. Actually, if you compare Bradley (white), Bo (black) and Yao (all really tall guys played in NBA), you will find that Yao is more athletic. Your self-contemp shows your dire lack of confidence.

    If you have something meaningful to add, most people don't care about how good your english is. Don't let that scare you into not posting. People just get frustrated with the pointless threads....kind of like this one.

    I think those are real new members. I felt that this board was mentioned more and more in some Chinese forums, along with Yao's hot streak. Once they visited this board, they started to get interested; the more they read, the more they wanted to share. I guess that's how many posters became regular "spamers". :) I think we ought to be patient, the quality and language of their posts will improve over the time, and then the board will attract more and more new members.

    I have a hard time understanding some of the posts from these new guys. But I welcome all Rockets fans to the group.

    Although, hopefully, we can leave the race remarks at the door.

    I never in all of my life ever came across such an ugly posting as this one !!!!!!!!!!!!! This person needs a good thrashing and then submitted to the chineese water torture, followed by having his abdomen and thorax sliced so that his guts fall out before of his eyes [chinese], followed by a retirement from Clutch BBS [ even a worst torture ].
    The last time I saw Yao Ming his color was white. not even tanned and his movement most graceful and demeanor most pure.

    I am a Chinese. I play basketball everyday in the University I am working at with the students, black, white, hispanic, or asian. IMO, black has better explosive in general, but not very flexible, and sometime a little lazy on defense. Although I am a little slow (mostly because of age) I can penetrate, break the defense and can gaurd a black player , who is taller and younger than me better than anybody in my team. So in general, I think ppl from any race are about the same, but your attitude makes difference. Yao's most development in NBA is his confidence, attitude and his comfort with the game. It takes time for any alien to get accustomed to the new environment, new culture, new style of play.

    I don't like T-mac when he was playing in the sandbox. THAT KID WAS NOT A GOOD SHARER.

    Things will calm down in a couple of months. New members will figure out when it is appropriate to start a new thread, and when not to.

    Yep, a lot of members will lose interest pretty soon because of the difficulty of posing in English.

    But wait until next season when Rox and Yao get hot. I bet new members will come back again along with a screen full of "Yao this" or "Yao that". Texas Stoke will go crazy and his head will explode, which may be not a bad thing. :p

    I found this post disturbing. Not at moremade, whatever his or her race is, but at the 2 pages of responses so far, mine included. :D Gosh, I really wonder what made this so worthy.
