I'm glad they are going back to red, don't know about silver though. Anyway as long as we don't have pin stripes.
I am not buying it...If a rep told you this he could be fired. Besides they sell a silver and red jersey now at the compaq center. I think it might be one of the picks, and selling the replica they have at the games maybe a way to see how much fan attention one style gets. I still think their is gonna be some sort of stripe.....Kinda like the Pacers stripe.
New Jack, needs more silver (not grey)! The red looks too much like a brown/maroon color. I would also love to keep the text we have for the uniforms, just not the Rocket and Basketball in the background. Just my opinion! Good effort anyway!
I just pray that we don't to back to some throwback type of uniform. The whole throwback fad is getting old, and will be gone within a year.
Red is not bad, blood red that is. However, i would have prefered gold with that, and no not the ugly yellow of the old jersey the color gold. The colors of the new cavs jerseys are sweet. I wish we had them. I like the idea of a home silver jersey or gold whatever color they choose with the pressumed red. I hate white home jerseys!

Red and silver sounds pretty cool. As long as it is not the McDonals Redy & Yellow colors I am cool with it. I am a bit surprised that blue is not involved though. I always got the impression that the Rockets organization wanted the blue color in there. But it appears that most want RED in the design so that is the dominant color. Those Ohio State jerseys are interesting.
One more thing I wanted to add. The Rockets "red" color definitely would have to be a "crimson" type color or a "deep blood red" color to mesh well with silver. I don't think the OLD Rockets "red" (which was a standard red) and silver would look all that great together. The Ohio State jersey has a "crimson red" and silver color combo that looks pretty good. I like it. I like the silver stripes down the side as well. I think if the Rockets go with something along those lines it will be well received.
The morning guys on 610 had a guy from the Rockets on this past week in the morning around 7 or so. He said he likes the concept of the new uniforms, but wouldn't divulge any real details about it. Said that there will be new logo. The final design is not completed yet. About the logo, they're going for a something that will look good on a ball cap, which is a definite good thing. They're going for a look that will translate well into all avenues, not just jerseys, but caps, t-shirts, polos, etc. I think that's great to hear. So hopefully, we'll get something that's very fashion friendly. Also, he mentioned that they are not able to unveil the new logo and jersey until after the finals because there is some NBA (re: David Stern-imposed) rule against it. So I guess we should take his word for that. I don't know how that goes with the other thread mentioning that the Cavs will unveil their new look after their last game. We shall see... one more thing, hope we bring our A-game tonight
thanks for the update desihooper can't wait till we get the uniforms and i hope the lettering looks nice too. But can the Rockets have an alternate jersey such as the Sixers?? Because the Sixer uses white for home and black for away and the blue for alternate road jersey. I hope the rockets can do the same. I also thought Reebok was designing our jersey...??
