Yeah, and Greeny wasn't a very good play by play guy either. Although I like Mike and Mike in the Morning, they don't do well commentating. Ditka as well.

Man, I have never seen a team play as badly as Oakland last night. I don't know whether to feel sorry for Lane Kiffin (do they not listen to him b/c they know Al calls the shots and dislikes him?) or to think of him as a bad coach. He just stood there all night with the same dumfounded and embarassed expression. No emotion. Can't tell if it is because he knows he is a lame duck coach or what. It appeared he had zero control over the team.

I wish Al would just retire and let someone turn the Raiders back into a respectable franchise. Also, that O-line is going to get Russell killed

Its sad what Al has done to this once proud team in the name of his own hubris. Sure he threw some big bucks at guys like Walker, Hall, and Wilson... but Kiffin has been upset all offseason because they simply aren't bringing anybody in to compete. They bring in guys from the local schools who didn't get drafted to training camp, its a joke. Last night one of our tackles got injured, and the guy who comes in to replace him is a converted TE/DE.

Basically Al is throwing Kiff under the bus this season and setting up the team to fail big time which makes me seriously question my loyalties to the team. I have never once thought about changing my affiliation, but when you've got an owner who would rather play mind**** the coach into submission than win football games it really makes me wonder if I should even bother.

The past 6 years have been hell. We've got some pieces, the defense is a couple players away from being pretty good, Jamarcus didn't look too terrible, McFadden and Fargas ran well... but the offensive line is so run-oriented that they can't pass protect to save their lives. We don't have a WR with any consistency outside of Curry, and for some reason Jamarcus and him haven't taken a liking to one another.

I'm hoping we can get a stud offensive lineman this time in the draft who isn't a complete bust like Gallery.

Most of all I'm hoping Al will just go away.

It made me feel bad for all of those Raider fans in their costumes, being all hyped up before the game and just getting their butt kicked. I was hoping that they would have stopped showing them on tv.

I was just glad the first game was over with, I don't know what I would have done if they would have mentioned Favre one more time.

    Seriously man!

I did zero reading for my classes last night so I can watch the game and I was basically watching a pile of crap dressed in Raider uniforms! Now I am going to have to pay the price and send the rest of the week playing catch-up on the reading. What the hell is wrong with this team? They need to do 3-a-days or something because it is getting ridicilous on the field. How much longer can we suffer?

And I hate having to hold on hope that we have potential and we have great prospect in McFad N Russell. I still freaking blame the Patriots! At least that will always stop me from having a heartattack from watching this team.

Come on Rockets. Atleast the Rockets gave us a good regular season and excitement in the first round. Raiders are one and done by the second week. :(
