Why did the Raiders get a mnf game? Hell, why did the Broncos even get a game, let alone 2? What am I missing here? Oakland even gets a Thursday night game this year!
Not sure, but watching Oakland tonight makes me feel better about the Texans' play. What a terrible team that consistently makes mistakes
uhhh... because the NFL needs a "late" MNF game for the week 1 doubleheader. That kind of narrows it down. and yes, the NFL hates the Texans, at least your team can score a single point.
They play on the west coast. it logistically allows Seattle, San Fran, San Diego, and Oakland, and USC.
Oakland is a bad team, but they have players people will be interested in watching. McFadden coming in as one of the top prospects in recent years and Jamarcus Russell, last years first pick overall, starting for his first year. As for Denver, I have no clue. They don't really have an star power and are generally a pretty boring team to watch. I guess the names of these teams alone brings in viewers.

The commentators (Mike, Mike, and Mike) were horrible for this game. I thought Kornheiser was bad but these guys make him look like a blessing.
The Raiders are a disgrace. The Broncos aren't all that good and look like an all-star team tonight. Al Davis should have just fired Kiffin and paid his contract off. An owner trying to run off his head coach by undermining his decisions is just plain stupid. I hope Kiffin eventually goes somewhere else within the division and smacks the Raiders every time he faces them, just like Mike Shanahan. The Raiders used to be a great franchise but Al Davis has run them into the ground. They won't turn things around with him trying to micromanage.

I like Hall he's not like people think. The perception of him is wrong, on the Falcons message board over 70% of the board refers to him as a thug, why I have no clue. I don't get why Rex Ryan is playing zone when he has 2 good corners.
Damn, moes. The Broncos do NOT look like the Steelers, and look at how many points they're dropping on the black and silver. There's absolutely no blocking up front. The Texans got pushed around, but the Raiders are hurting themselves. Rusell looks like he needs some help. Hall is just plain dumb.
Mike&Mike&Mike is a good group to do a game. They weren't memorable but they didn't do anything to piss me off like Mike Tirico who goes off into a list of stupid stats when he has nothing valuable to say.
