Yes mass shootings are a problem. There are two issues. We are desensitized to young Black men killing each other and the media loves racism
When you use an anecdote to make an overarching point about the general population of a ethnic group or race, I'm going to discuss about your talking point rather than the anecdote you provide therefore I'm going to discuss macro level topics about the matter. An anecdote is an anecdote. Your claims go beyond the anecdote. You provide a narrative of the entire group having a problem with crime disproportionately to their population of overall Americans. I'm explaining why there is that disproportion. I know you are all about wanting to find the reasons why before jumping to solutions so there is the reason why. You're welcome.

It becomes a distraction to the real problems of violence in the black community. I acknowledge that mass shootings inspired by hate ( what else are they inspired by) But for Black it's a distraction Also I don't have a problem with the media coverage, that's not my point. However personally , I just view it as another mass shooting

Almost every post you make is trying to distract. You are correct to point out the issue of black on black violence but won't acknowledge the role that racism plays in it due to the poverty, educational disadvantages, job hiring promotions within occupation etc.

African Americans are just the same as every other human on this planet. If they are statistically more violent it generally believed to be due to an external environmental factor. Many suspect it is poverty, others suggest it is the result of constraints on their ability to achieve (IE the deck is stacked against them). The typical left leaning position is lets try and remove obstacles or even the playing field so they have an equal chance to succeed and escape these consequences of circumstance. OP has some weird other theory about self accountability. Maybe he is right, but I doubt it.
Oh yeah, because people will just instead talk about crime stats to say how violent black people are instead...I never see you come out and talk about how bad it is when people do that though... So you don’t care that much that someone went out of his way to deliberately target people just based on the color of their skin.
