Was I not clear enough with my instructions? Go to Google, type in "Semi-permanent ink" and do your best to learn something. I'm not expecting a miracle here so just do your best. Hopefully that's enough to get you to stop drooling all over this thread.

Do you lack the intellectual capacity to answer how something can be semi-permanent? Do you suffer from semi-permanent brain damage?

Well I see you failed in your little mission I sent you on, so I'll make this one easy, just click the links kiddo.

    http://www.macmillandictionary.com/us/dictionary/british/semi-permanent

Why am I having to define what words mean for you? Is English a second language for you? I kind of really hope that's the case because if not, the school system failed you pretty miserably.

If something is not lasting indefinitely, then it is not permanent by any means. Henna can be taken off safely in a few hours. That would not make it semi-permanent by any standards. Calling it semi-permanent is just an idiotic way of making it seem like this child was branded with religious symbols.

Still doesn't mean it's not an oxymoron and just inflated phrasing to try and make this incident seem bigger than it is. The mother was given the opportunity to raise any objections she had, but instead chose to remain ignorant on something she could have easily prevented.

It is the exact correct wording to describe what it is. Henna is a semi-permanent ink.....even if you aren't bright enough to understand that. I'm sorry that words confuse you, but there was nothing at all inaccurate about it. Henna dyes are also used in semi-permanent lipstick, hair coloring, and lip liner.

At some point I'm really hoping you learn enough to be a quality poster, but right now you are just embarrassing.

Something that could be taken off in a few hours would not be long lasting enough to be considered for that inflated phrasing (which is only being used to make it seem like this child has been branded).

And LOL at you talking about being a quality poster when you're the inbred who said it was OK to kill one million people, including CHILDREN, based solely on guilt by association.

It is literally classified as semi-permanent....you do realize that we're not arguing opinions here right?

You are so hopeless. Please don't injure the future by breeding.

Classified by who? The only time that term has even been used here is by people here who are trying to make it seem like this thing won't come off (and actually does come off quite easily with simple home solutions).

But please, continue trying to inflate this incident.

"So you're saying it's ok to kill over 1 million innocent people, including children, if there is a reason that is legitimate enough?"
    Pathetic.

The term "semi-permanent" is one commonly used to refer to dyes and inks. You not being bright enough to know that doesn't change that fact. It's not something that someone made up here, it's what henna dye is called you stupid, stupid fool. It's not just called that when used to draw doodles on people's arms, it's called that when it's used as hair dye, when it's used as lipstick or lip liner as well. Had you just done what I asked and looked it up, you'd know that instead of continuing to embarrass yourself by spewing ignorant BS.

As to this past conversation, if you aren't smart enough to grasp the concept of semi-permanent ink or dye, there's NO chance whatsoever that you would have the intellect for a conversation about the philosophy of morality.

So far all you've been doing is making the case that your parents made a mistake by not aborting you. Please do better.

SMH, semi-permanent means temporary....I can see I've got yet another Mensa member here. Do yourself a favor and click the links I provided to the definition of the word semi-permanent.

But God forbid they come home with floral decorations on their hand from a plant extract that can be removed in less than five minutes from dangerous household cleaners of lemons and ****ing baking soda. Ya if you are irked by that, you are an anal retentive prissy parent. No ifs ands or buts.

LOL... then we are all in agreement that these Henna decorations are temporary and that the woman over-reacted or simply wanted to make a political statement (no matter how incorrect) about schools and Muslims.

    "Semi-permanent"... SMH.

They are semi-permanent which means temporary but long lasting. The school was stupid for doing it without express written permission and having spelled out exactly what they were planning on doing, the semi-permanent nature of it, and methods of removing it.

Anyway, I know my audience and I understand why this is beyond the comprehension of some of them. It's no big deal, you guys are what you are and that's okay.

LOL... now he tries "temporary but long lasting". Amazing the depths he sinks to avoid admitting he is wrong.
