What a surprise, Tracy is deflecting blame on somebody else, this dude needs to take the responsibility that every other top 5 player takes, not just the credit.

Tracy McGrady hasn't been out of the 1st round either guys...

    That's what I was thinking.

Now back to the Steve is selfish with a bad BBIQ vs. Tracy is selfish with no heart Thread.

Umm, well, I'd rather have players that take the Rockets to the top, not half way there. We knew what we were getting with francis and mobley. You must be content with mediocre teams rather than rolling the dice.

I think we are gonna hear some dumb stuff out of TMac. He's a better player than Steve, but I don't think he can handle the media and the pressure as well as Steve. Steve did bring a lot of intangibles to the table.

I'm just frustrated with Yao, much like I'm sure T-Mac's frustrated. You expect life to be easier playing with "the next dominant center" yet you face as many double teams as before on the worst team in the league. I expected Yao to take a dramatic step forward and hit at least 20/10. What does he give me (in the few games that I do watch)? 9 points. 4/5 rebounds. 5/6 TOs. WTF. If he was making everyone around him better, and thus our team was winning, it wouldn't be as big an issue. The fact of the matter is, he seems to have taken a few steps back from his development. His low post moves have become predictable and blockable, he still brings the ball too low, he gets outrebounded by such boarding beasts as mike bibby and andre miller...

I was just (partly) joking about cloggin the lane, brush, no worries. I am just amazingly disillusioned with the rockets and the direction our franchise is taking...

Edit: that's pretty tite, my 7'6" clogging the lane comment was made by DaDakota in the TMAC FT line thread 4 hours before I posted it here in this thread. Great minds think alike DD.

Well, Tmac was just lost out there, trapped on an island. The screen he use, the pick he use just not right. He always ends up in a crowd. I blame this on coach. What has he been doing in the practice. Do we have some plays. This team sucks right now. A bunch of people determine shoot out of slump and other bunch just quit on the play like Yao.
By the way, WTF does coach have to say his player doesnt have chemistry on the court. Hell, you and the management put a team, isnt it your job to bring the chemistry if there isnt one. I am pissed, what an a-hole.

Bottom line: Our offense is inconsistent at best. There doesn't appear to be any organization. I'm sick of seeing the shot clock close to expire when a shot goes off.

I swear Yao looked better in his first year.:(

I like the improvement on defense over the past few years, but I hate trading in exciting ball play. I would almost rather see a game where we lost 110 - 109 than see this 72 - 71 crap.

nuff said. Very painful to watch.

If it is a clear out iso for Tmac, what do you expect? I hate to say this, Yao is a wuss. He got too much on his mind. Just knock it, how hard it is if you are freaking 7'6. He gotta take more responsiblities. Demand the freaking ball, and command it. It's frustrating to see the whole team stand around watching Tmac out there. We gotta be able to run some plays.
Like I said in the other thread, we got our lucks in several games, this team isnt a consistent team yet, the jury is still out.

went to this Orlando website and some of the posters took comments from this thread.

The Rockets have some serious problems right now, but Magic fans need to know that they won't be winning the title anytime soon. You think they understand that with Francis as their point guard?

I don't get why you keep turning attention back to the Magic and trying to bash them...if you wanna look at how things are going, Steve is scoring more than T-Mac, the Magic are doing better than the Rockets, and most importantly, they look like a TEAM out there!

And you act like the Rockets are in any better shape to win a title right now! Maybe you should be more concerned with getting your record up to .500 before you bash a team for not being title contenders.

Do you guys understand why Yao posts and then reposts? Why do they have him doing this? I never saw Hakeem post and go across the lane and repost. It doesn't make sense. He should post hold his position and ask for the ball.

The problem is he couldnt seal off his man. He likes to catch the ball on the move too.

Yeah, those losses to the expansion bobcats, the blazers at home and barely eeking out a win at Indy with a severly depleted Pacer team just scream mediocrity.

If I had to bet, I would say the Rockets win another title before the Magic do.

I heard it too but it is out of context. But trust pgabriel to jump on it "out of context".

Tmac basically said that he and Yao and not pulling their weight and that they are dissapointed so far with how things have gone. So he made a passing mention of that quote above. I thought it was a sound and honest take and he also hinted that all will be well soon.

So lets get a grip of ourselves and stop being this damn fickle. The ROX fans on this BBS are quickly turning into the worst fans I know. Sickening and puerile rants - utterly incohesive and irrational.

Kinda like the Rockets losing to the Hawks, Raptors, and "eeking out a win" against the Clippers? Yeah, it goes both ways man. Every team has their bad games, but that doesn't change that the Magic still have the better record. A win's a win.

How did I take it out of context? He was frustrated, and he mentioned that.

    Explain the context, please.

    BTW Fegwu,

you trying to spin that quote combined with your signature is hillarious.

Good for the Magic. Good for them. I'd rather have this Rocket team over a Magic team led by a selfish point guard. I see years and years of 1st or 2nd round exits for the Magic.

Whereas the Rockets have a 25 year old player and a 24 year old player a year or two away from entering their primes. The Sky's the limit.
