It would b nice since Folks r happy with kpj, harden is just a better version of the pg they want.

Only downside is the btching on this forum about harden would b insane

A washed harden is still putting up 10 more pts and more assists than kpj.

Folks are praising kpj and happy with this type of production/play style. it would b weird for the same folks to not want harden

Hard no. The Rockets are better off keeping that door closed.

Hear me out. If KD gets frustrated for not winning in BKLN, he can get petty, come to hou next year and play with kids and enjoy BKLNs lottery picks for years to come.

Delusional take. That is even less likely than Harden coming back to us.

Man isn't gonna leave irving + Brooklyn is his team anyways

Nah I’m good. That era is a wrap. JG is the face of this franchise now.

2nd best PG in NBA right now.

    Averaging over 10 APG.

And when that hammy is 100%:

If KPJ were making $40 mil then we would expect way more. Harden is paid to be a superstar, KPJ is not. If harden wants to come back on a discount I would take him only if the rockets are also looking to win. No point to have veteran guy here otherwise.

Lol one of my co-workers is a sixers fand and he already going the Suxers can trade him next year. Dude was weary of Harden even when he first came to Philly and the Sixers were hot becaue he said he seen a couple of lil things from harden that he feared would be an downfall agains the top team.

He said right off the bat he noticed Harden doesn’t have an explosiveness or another gear. On offense or Defense. The defense was the major flag and it. Was confirmed against the game against Brooklyn. He said I’m Philly everybody plays for
everybody in defense and is accountable. That doesn’t works with Harden. Surprise surprise I said. I told him y’all would have to shift y’all defense around him To cater to him. He’s not fighting over screens and not chasing off guards around. I seen a couple of Philly game the last few weeks and the Sixer role players point Harden out and raise their arms is disbelief when he blows his assignment or doesn’t defend. It happened continuously. They expect
Him to handle his responsibility. Doc does too

How many times did stuff like this happen in Houston but instead Harden would yell at the role players for not covering their assignments and his. We’re already trying to fix our culture. We don’t need Harden cultivating that type of lack of accountability into this young team culture.

I would like Mike D'Antoni and a defensive specialist coach over Harden.

Genuine question. What is harden supposed to do on that play? I mean he could have gotten there faster (though he wasn't slow) in order to be better positioned for a block, but short of that what is the expectation.

If im doc rivers I am talking to the 2 players involved in the pick and roll who went after the same player, not the weakside help that came but not fast enough

Agree Harden would make things worse here, but we already lack accountability, this is a very undisciplined team and if things do not change we are looking at potentially derailing some careers that would have otherwise flourished. Harden just does not fit many places in the league at this stage. People are judging him for what he is now, but he was a different player in Houston overall. His strengths made up for a lot of is weaknesses. I think the only place that makes sense for him is LAL. They both are going to be in desperation model. Not sure how Lebron feels about Harden, he was clowning him along w KD in the all star draft. If I were the Lakers I would look to surround Lebron around a group of several players that are a solid supporting cast. What the Clippers have done with no stars playing is impressive.

Contest the offensive players attempt to make a layup. It's as simple as that really.

Rocket Org has this yearbook they publish. In appendix list a whole bunch of team records. The two names that appear the most: Hakeem and Harden.

We didn't draft him, but when it's all said and done, he'll be remembered as a Rocket. I got a pair of his shoes and a rookie card, appreciated what he had done here. That said... he moved on, and we've moved on.

Team is in rebuild, he's chasing a ring, makes little sense for him to come back. If before retiring, he wants a sweetheart deal, sure I guess.

But best of luck to him.

    Separate ways.
