You could easily have a worse 3rd string guard. I’m sure he’ll spend a good bit of time with RGV but when it’s time to rest harden/Westbrook he will help pick up the slack. Even having someone to count on pouring in blowout buckets at the end of big games so the starters can sit is enough of a luxury. I would like to see a 6-seconds-or-less rockets lineup of Clemons, Westbrook, Green, McLemore, Capela. Old teams, teams on 2nd night of back to back or playing guys heavy minutes due to injury will suffer having to keep that pace. Clemons is greased lightning

This guy is definitely no g leaguer. He's legit and played extremely well in the SL showing the ability to score, playmake, shoot the 3, and rebound well.
i mean every team passed on him in the draft so, its very possible hes a g leaguer. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone if he ends up there in a couple weeks

and compare that to the list of guys that are actually drafted. its a pretty big discrepancy. sure you have a guy who goes undrafted and carves himself a role at some point maybe but it isn't every single player like cf's wants to believe that puts on a rockets summer league uni

Yeah but I never claimed everyone that was in a Rockets uni was the next best thing. In fact, I never claimed Clemons to be the next best thing. Point was/is, this kid (IMO obviously) is no g leaguer. You and donkey punch disagree (go figure). That's cool because this will be another one of those time will tell ventures that we ride throughout this season and the next few.
