you seriously cant try to defend jason williams for riding a bike by implimenting that he shouldn't take risks. of course people do that all the time, i would say everytime in fact when they leave their house and hop on a bike. but as mentioned before basketball players have a contract to uphold. they are basically owned by the team management and its not the slightest bit unfair if your restricted from riding a motorcycle while your in the NBA under contract. sure riding is fun thats a given, but would you really risk your future and the future of your organization over such a simple hobbie? geez these athletes will make more than we probably ever will in our lifetime. dont take uneccessary risks END OF STORY. BTW, im glad we picked yao.

wrong. he came on later in the season, he also had a triple double...which is a rareity for rookies. he would have been a beast, unfortunately he did the stupid thing and road a motorcycle. I would have taken yao either way.

Completely disagree. You are entitled to your opinion. He was not going to be a "beast". Even Williams himself has admitted he was a big disappointment.

Jay Williams was definately going to be the next Jordan hands down. Had the Rockets drafted him, they would've won 4 championships by now and Yao would've been the tallest human wheelchair guy in Chicago. People in Chicago do stupid things. It's in the water they drink. Jay Williams was smart until he drank some of the water in Chicago. Put Jay Williams and Steve Francis on the same backcourt and no one would've stopped us.

    P.S.: Chuck Hayes for MVP.

    You're kidding, right?

Jay and Steve on the same backcourt would have been a brick/turnover fest. We needed a big man, that's why we got Yao. Drafting Jay Williams with the first pick when we already have Francis and Mobley makes no sense to me.

Gee I thought the networks raved over the guy during the finals - about how he took apart an aging Shaq and how he was a Premier NBA center!!

Goes to show how much the Finals is about well written PR bu11sh*t and then getting the talking heads to repeat it. I just wonder if the heads have to go to the head and smoke some crack before they repeat such unmitigated drivel? :D

I just would like to see some streaming video with the audio of Cuban going ballistic on Stern right in the arena at the end of the one finals game. I'm sure it was posted somewhere, I just missed it - and I like to see Cuban pissed.

HA! Some insider. The player I remember reading about (from a real insider), was Amare. The report was that if the Rockets couldn't get the Yao/Chinese government deal done, Rudy would've taken Amare Stoudemire.

Sadly, even the smiley doesn't always do the trick. My grandmother has better sarcasm detection than alot of these rooks.

on realgm's message board, there is a guy who goes by the name of
    "Adonalmao".

I think that says quite abit about Mr. Foyle's skill level. ;)
