You really should have watched the game, especially from the late 3rd quarter, then you would have known that there were a lot of bone head mistakes made by the Rockets players, especially T-Mac. Yao brought the game back and had Chandler commit his 4th personal fouls in the middle of the 3rd quarter. But Rockets just stopped going to Yao after that, and T-Mac played PnR over and over with missed jumper shots. That was the critical moment, NOT when there was 30 - 40 seconds to go and we were down by 5 points before end of the 4th quarter. Rockets had very good chance to put the Hornets away in the middle of the 3rd quarter. But T-Mac's decision making was uncharacteristically poor from that point on, maybe he just wanted to shoot his way back.

Anyway, this is the one game that I am very disappointed at T-Mac. We all know that he's not 100% physically. But I'm really concerned about his decision making in running the offense when he was clearly frustrated by his own play. It seems to me that he thinks it's more important to prove himself than to win for the team.

Its just a matter of Tmac didn't make the shots. If he shoots 5-11, people would've called it a good game. He made a few classic Tmac pull up 3s (although in his defense I remember one where it was wide open... and I don't blame him for taking that shot). Other than that, he was going to the basket, drawing the double team and passing the ball out to the open guy. He led the team in assists today, if we were hitting shots that could've easily been 7 or 8.

I'm not saying he had a good game, but he was a couple of made shots away from having a really solid game.
