Getting them and preventing them. Last year the astros had a major advantage in homeruns. This year our pitching is allowing too many homeruns and we aren't hitting as many. It's clear we were expecting more homeruns out of Correa, Valbuena, we no longer have Gattis, and our pitching is allowing far too many homeruns as well. If the astros can get that number in line they will start winning more.
Back half of the lineup has to produce more. This will not be a good rally team, especially LH hitters. Lots of swing & miss in their game. Sacrificing contact for power. They need to hit home runs to be an effective lineup one through nine. — Verducci
