After a little price haggling with the Salesman @ Sears, I purchased this bad boy for a pretty good price ($675.99) Not a bad TV for the price, this sale is still going on until today (42% off the regular price) http://www.sylvaniaconsumerelectronics.com/product/limited/LC420SS8/feature.html
Is Sylvannia a top brand now? I paid $750 for a Sharp a couple of weeks ago. Waiting for tinman's opinion.
My parents have a Sony Bravia and compared to my el cheapo the only difference I notice is the electronics/inputs/menus. All the screens are made by the same people.
seems like you could've done a lot better than sylvania, especially when manufacturers like sony and sharp and pioneer are selling for comparitive prices. but who knows, maybe sylvania makes a decent tv
absolutely bad. here's a hint, if the first thing you think of when the hear the company's name is not tvs, don't buy their tvs.
good luck with the brand. you could find a much better tv in that price range if you did a little more research.
