SpaceGhost, Brand alone is worth Brickhouse. Yes, Brick can score, but he has a bad attitude, he hogs the ball, he hasn't learned thing one about team ball. He scares away free agents, except desperate-for-money ones. Detroit wants to get rid of him. Badly. If Detroit wanted to rebuild, Jason Richardson at #4 or Shane Battier might be a nice step. I've seen Brand play. 20 and 10, boards like a monster. Let me "submit reply" now.... ------------------
I'll take Brand over Stack any day of the week. ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? This deal isn't gonna make or break me Norm, so don't jerk me around." Harry Carey "Norm, if I had a mohawk scalp, I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you."
I mentioned in Doc Rocket's thread that all that talk about swapping #42's (Walt? Stack? Brand?), and our previous interest in Brand (we made an offer last February), and Detroit's wanting to get rid of Brickhouse, made me wonder if moving up the corporate ladder means getting Elton Brand, Chicago getting Stack, Detroit getting the #4. But I dunno. ------------------
