    well...

last year there was a display at the Met about men wearing dresses... kind of like women when they first started wearing pants. all kinds of interesting designs... dresses becoming more unisex.

it's definitely a possiblity for the future... as soon as people get over the stigma of wearing dresses. anyway the display said that dresses are actually more comfortable and practical... so yeah i guess they are a timeless wonder.

    great stuff Chance

I've certainly worn the odd dress to themed parties and loved it, with obviously the Priscilla Thong dress being the highlight

    a Kilt....gotta get me one

A Kilt Cowbell song seems appropriate

If you're going to hit him with a dare, you need to go farther than that -- he already came to our charity fundraiser (Tux and Tennies) in a kilt last year.

I've worn a dress in public for a "Hell Week" at a frat... but I've never done it for fun.

It wasn't really a dare, but if you look at it in those terms, then I think playing in a Rocket red kilt infront of a sell out crowd is taking it a step further. I also am truly curious if there is gonna be a T-Mac song.

i can understand why "skirtman" would want to wear the kilt/skirt, but why does he insist on wearing those heels with them?

Haha, I swear. Chance, what are the odds of you guys convincing the Texans to do a "Battle Kilt Day"

Although, that'd mean I'd probably have to wear one...as most Reliant Stadium Employees are encouraged to join in (ie: Battle Red Day, all the Usher/Event Staff wore Red polos, rather than the Red/Yellow/Blue Microcheck)

Speaking of...I can't wait til Saturday. Go Texans!

    Chance,

    couple of technical Kilt questions

    1. How does sizes work with Kilts, is it like pants?

    2. What kind of shoes go best with Kilts?

I live in Savannah, GA where there is a lot of scottish and irish heritage. We even have scottish games every year here so seeing someone in a kilt isnt something that would be to shocking around here.

I personally have never worn one but would be up for it if given the chance. Seems like it would be damn comfortable really. And I am proud to say I definately have the legs for it! ;)
And for those that want to wear a kilt or even a skirt for that matter than more power to them. After all, it's just clothes. If someone wants to wear something that they like then they should do it.

For decades now it has been common and the norm for women to wear pants or even ties, I dont see any reason why women should get fashion free reign and men should be restricted to a certain cultural acceptance. If a man wants to wear a skirted garment such as a kilt or a regular skirt, then so be it!

    just my two cents.

Of course I have a T-Mac song. And it totally rules. Should the opportunity arise to do a halftime show I will be the kilt-wearingest man the toyota Center has ever seen.

Generally speaking unless I am throwing at a bar I wear boxers under mine. With kids and stuff around I want to be seen as fun, not a perv. So I don't go commando unless it's a party night.

    1. Just like pants except they are true sizes. The length you measure from your normal waistline and decide how far down you want it to go.
    2. I wear either 3/4 boots, sandals, tennis shoes, or if I can, nothing.

I pick shirts just like I would with cargo khakis or jeans. I do have a black one we made out of fabric intended for dress slacks that I wear with my tux top or shirt and tie.

And it looked great. That was a fun event. I don't think Mr. Alexander would have worn one but he did smile.

Will Hebert Hoover be looked on differently in the next Millenia? Maybe the Father of this movement?

You'all are crazy. Men will never were skirts. I think it's less about comfort and more about attraction. Because ultimately, that's what it will come down to. IF women find it attractive them men will wear them. I don't see that happening.

And if it did, we'd have a real problem distinguishing between the cross dressers and the normal men wearing skirts ;)

    LOL.

Ah, But if skirts were acceptable on men would they then be crossdressers? In other words, would you call a woman a crossdresser if they wore a tie or slacks as society has dictated that it is ok for them to do so?

I must admit, at the Bus I tried to get a peek at your balls when you sat down.

    Timeless wonder.:)
