Be real no way Houston lands Kidd we don't have the players. Anything we offer will get a satirical laugh. I am hoping Dallas lands Kidd so we can sneak Jason Terry for them. They are already thinking of starting Devin Harris and maybe they decide to throw a bone at the Rockets.
8 million is something Rockets can afford and have players to package for compare that to Kidd who would cost us 20 million.
We'll get Jason Kidd when Les Alexander decides he doesn't care about profit margins. That would kill our cap situation for the next two years. Basically we would not be able to upgrade at PF or find a replacement for Deke if he leaves.

If Denver could get Iverson for what they gave up in that deal, I am not sure we could not get Kidd. It's a long shot, but stranger things have happened.
