Anybody ever play "Count the hand gestures"? Next time you are with a group of people and one of his commercials comes on, everybody start to count (to themselves) how many times he waves his hand to the camera. When the commercial is over, see if any two people in the room have the same number. Believe me, this game will distract you from the obnoxious spewing that is Gallery advertising. PS. sirhangover I`m with ya, I am so sick of hearing about his so called daily "sales" Over the past year his radio spots have gotten really old....he talks to the same guy who went shopping and got a "back order slip".....at least change the character he talks to I went to Gallery last year for the first time,and I`ll say one thing "He didnt save me money" I ended up buying from the "at your fingers" guy ------------------
I agree that charity organizations do not care where the money came from to an extent yet I wouldn’t want my non profit org to be prostituted by mac or any other company especially to the extent that mr mac does…I simply think mac overdoes it to an extent that is overbearing and short on class… I guess what I am saying is that if mac wanted to help these organizations the classy way he would give anonymous donations or wouldn’t try and prostitute the charity organizations with gallery furniture references..but that’s the whole point he is not out there for the charity organizations he is there for galleryfurniture which to me is a sad way of gaining publicity…there are other more tasteful ways…but then again what did you expect coming from this guy? On top of that I have heard from a woman that was a vendor for a furniture company that sold to them that he is a real SOB, treats his employees like dirt and is generally a sh*tty guy…I could go on and on I am just sickened by this guys antics… I don’t stay up late at night worrying about him and I do not have a personal vendetta against him it just finally brought me to that point to see that slime buckets company name on the freaking renderings of the scorers table on our future arena? How did that crap get there Jeff? I mean it says ‘new arena’ everywhere yet his stupid website has to be plastered on the scorers table? Why?
