well if he violated any terms in his contract (go snowboarding or getting hurt in a pickup game) he can be suspended without pay and they can even void his contract
if i ever see t-mac is person im gonna whip is as*. hes a little piece of ***** and the biggest p*ssy i know
It's kinda funny to go back and read the first few pages where guys were crackin on the starter of the thread. How ya feeling about Tracy now?
Don't get me wrong, he plays hard. I'm just saying if it wasn't contract season he wouldn't play with that injury.
Artest was going to sit, but when he heard Mac wasn't playing he decided to play. That has nothing to do with contract year.
People always bash visionaries, or people who see things coming before others......because they are just jealous. DD
Him standing at the top of the key on offense and then not even attempting to make a play on the moon dunk did it for me. actually i woke up this morning and got over some of my anger but then i read the recap on chron.com. HE WANTS MORE SHOTS?!!!! You have to be kidding me! This guy needs to go. He didn't even get up when everyone else did to congratulate Von Wafer after he went on a tear in the 4th quarter. I hope Tmac gets better for his small minority of fans but i really dont see the greener side. Dont hate me for saying this but i'd rather see SF3 out there with bad knees and an obama jacket!
Being totally fair, it's a hard thing to accept and plenty of posters are still determined not to come to gripes with the reality of the situation. Some aren't versed enough in (sports) medicine to understand that McGrady's knee excuses are complete and utter BS. Some don't understand that athletes and teams are an awful lot like politicians in that they tell you what they want you to hear, not the unvarnished truth. Some are just young and still believe the sport and their favorite players are pure, good, and above question. Some simply don't want to believe this is happening to us. This is what happens to the Knicks or the Clippers. It's a nightmare, and people are going to cling to the hope that it's anything other than the horrible truth. A few of us saw the first clear signs of this last April. Maybe we're just more cynical, maybe we've just been watching longer and know that the box score isn't the whole story. I just hope that the front office isn't actively trying to delude themselves still. Evan
We always kinda suspected that t-mac just has a quitter's attitude, but I wonder if his recent tanking may be due to something else. I wonder if he's depressed. He does have a history of this when there were personal issues a couple years ago. He sure acts like he's depressed, playing hot-potato at the top of the key and blaming others for not having enough touches. He needs to see a therapist and get his ***** figured out. Take some time out to get straight and let wafer get some pt and develop in the meantime.
I don't post a lot, but I read daily. I've been pro-tmac for far too long, just hoping he'd become what we all want and know he could be. He won't...hes nothing. He's a guy who has all the talent in the world, and despite injury COULD take this team very far if he had the right head on his shoulders, but he doesn't, and thats just a fact, its become clear now. He is lazy, complacent, weary...washed up. I'm sure next week he'll have a game where he gets 20+, maybe even two or three in a row. That means nothing though, he will always return to what hes become. I once believed he would cruise through the season and show up in the playoffs. No, hes done. If we win a playoff series it won't be because of Tracy McGrady. At this point I wish we would just cut him for his lack of heart.
