Not the whole generation! I am only 20, but I agree most of my generation has the idea that they are entitled to something. Hard work seems like a trait rarely seen anymore. It should be a given.

That doesn't matter anymore. He is officially hurting the team by playing. Trade him for future picks, just get rid of him.

VON Wafer is out performing Tmac in every facet of the game. With Heart, intensity, drive and scoring buckets unlike t mclady.

My bad. Not all of you. Just the ones who have been defending McGrady.

lol thank God you're not in the Rockets front office. But seriously though the best thing for him and the Rockets right now is to sit him down for a few months because its obvious he's hurting and he's not willing to push himself this early in the season. Considering the length and size of his contract along with his age and recent play, I'm not too sure a lot of teams are high on him.

I feel sorry for him. He should have gone to Boston for a title, especially given the way Les was jerking him over the past couple of months.

How can you possibly still give the injury excuse. There is ZERO effort on his part! ZERO. Injured or not there is no excuse for that.

I was just telling my dad this. I feel for Deke, a fighter his entire career, he deserves better.

You don't think that is because the franchise player is showing them to play that way?

It's a little bit of both things - willingness and injury. He needs to be held accountable for not pushing himself harder but at the same time he knows he needs to conserve himself for the rest of the year and the injuries are obviously piling up and limiting his play

players look up to t-mac, you cannot deny that. I also don't think you can deny t-mac's attitude is not rubbing off on some of the younger players. a 12 vet is suppose to show the younger players how to whether the storm, not the cliff notes on how to quit.
