This is utterly ridiculous. Getting paid even $1 million to play a child's game is ridiculous. It's impossible to equate "effort," and salaries in professional sports.
As many here know i don´t love Tracy, nor hate him, i feel him like a player that could have been great, but his head betrayed him more than his body, like for example Safin in Tennis, to give you an example. Many here seem really dissapointed, i am not, i see things ratther in a pessimist way, but if you go further youll see is just real. Expect T-Mac to have a great game from time to time, and that´s it, he will never again play for his 20 millions, so stop with that, and he has never been an above average playoff performer, so cut that lie also, his % all go down in Playoffs. So we´ll have to take the good games, and hope to survive the bad ones, or the "i don´t want to play cause i´ll hurt the team (my stats)" games. We do that, our team does it, and our team will be prepared to contend in playoffs, taking T-Mac for what he is, expect T-Mac to take you pass anything, and he will fail as he has always done. In 2010 his contract expires, so any trade that doesn´t involve another expiring on that year is pointless. So let him expire, and retire, as i think he would do. The worst thing that could happen is him having a great 2010-11 season and show all of us that he is only about the money, hope the Rox don´t bite this time.
one point i want to make: A lot of people here, and it was brought up during last nights game, think 50-60% of Tracy is better then 100% of most players. This is true, however, that is taking into account the physical not the mental. If physically, Tracy is only 50% but plays hard, yes thats better then Luther. However, if Tracy is 50% physically, and not giving 100% effort, then a guy like Luther or Von can do more for this team.
Tracy has no explosiveness left, which is his main role. His jumper is suspect and his defense is average. We need to trade off his expiring contract this summer and get a young slasher.
Hate to bring this thread back up. But the exact same play just happened. Tracy back on defense, and just doesn't even try to stop Moon from dunking the ball. Complete joke

I am dong with him, too. I am more than pleased to be proven wrong in the playoff. But no matter how reasonable our record still is, I am sick of watching him.
