The desire to take the effort to go point by point with some actual nuance is not within me now but I'm pretty confident the dude just copy and pasted with zero intellectual curiosity with any of the points to figure out their validity, impact and context. That dude just thee in "school choice" as it's some objective solution when there are so many obvious flaws with that route.
It has to do with your fairly unhinged response to Deckard that does more to once again showcase your insecurities rather than either answer the OP or effectively rebut or apparently understand Deckard's response to them. Deckard initially noted the similarities between his background and the part of xaos's that xaos chose to highlight. Deckard then fleshed out his observations of black mistreatment during his adolescence and young adulthood, and how they informed his capacity to empathize with or support black-friendly political causes when they aligned with his broader values. He also pretty effectively dissected xaos's false choice between Trump and Biden. All you did was spew ad hominem invective and falsely paraphrase him, while revealing your embarrassment at not having made enough positive choices or sufficiently meaningful insights at a point in your life path at which Deckard would have already made several.
I lived in a hood like that when I was 7-8. There were five white kids in the elementary, k-6th grade, so I got in fights on the regular. It got to a point where I would start the fights regardless of the other kid's size or how many there were. I got a reputation as a crazy-ass white boy and was left alone for the most part. None of my friends were white. They were black, Hispanic and asian. I would say that time impacted me in that I understand that people are people and they all bleed red. Other than that, your first few posts reminded me of this song:
Sure you're a white male like I'm a Bayou Patron listening to "Bad Moon Rising" about be hit by another hurricane yet denying Global Climate Change and about to vote for Trump 2020. Sure buddy.
ONE MORE THING If you grow up in a Black Neighborhood. . . . EVERYONE GOT PICKED White, Light, Dark, Fat, Skinny, Tall, Short, Ugly, Cute. . . IT DOES NOT MATTER EVERY ONE GOT PICKED ON AND MADE FUN OF Rocket River Anyone can get it!!! These insults are rated E for Everyone . . . . just like these hands!! LOL
I am a white male from Australia but have live with my white American wife. In Au, we have the native Australian called the aborigine. He was mistreated in the past but those who you come across( only 1/4 million true full bloods left) are generally just decent human beings. The Au govt. made repatriations to them and most of those live out in the outback. I don't dislike them in the slightest. Over here in the US, I know and have known quite a few black people who I appreciate and call friends. Like any normal person, I dislike stupidity and foolishness from any race and I know the vast majority of us are exactly the same. But here (let me tell you from a foreign but pretty savvy perspective), the race issue here in the US is just ridiculous. I just cannot find a way to reconcile this issue. That won't stop me from trying. Yes, I have had a few Vodkas. And enjoying it.
Pretty much except the sissy fists. Then we moved to the boonies in Alvin and I instantly got in a fight with the next door white kid. The beef? I was an Oilers fan, he liked the Cowboys.
....by killing 200,000 of them and creating a second Great Depression. What a bum rap! He might be the unluckiest person in America. U should give him money to make him feel better
I apologize to @Deckard or my initial response. You're right i misinterpreted his post All that other **** about the choices of my life, you've said this before. What do you know about my life? I don't want to hear about what you think you know from what i post, what do you know about my life because im tired of you saying that so lets discuss this. What do you know about decisions in my life and ill address that
I would tread lightly. There are a number of very sharp and well educated people that frequent this site.... but in nearly 20 years of being on this site, and the many thousands of posters, @Dairy Ashford is the brightest poster I have come across. So just beware of what you are getting into.
Everybody gets caught up in a vote. While it’s important, just do something to make the world directly around you better. Everyone has three things to give: time, talent, and treasure. Pick which ones you have an abundance of and give it to your community. Also, get off of social media from time to time. The world isn’t as bad as Chinese and Russian bots would make you think.
