Making the playoffs would mean great experience for Francis, Ming, and Griffin. I don't care if we lose in the first round - it's reaching the playoffs and getting your ass handed to you that sometimes makes players get "it". That's what it took for Isiah.

    No, No, No,

Don't you see, if Rudy can "turn this sinking ship around" then he is obviously either getting through to the players or is game planning better. So he deserves to stay.

But he needs to show "something" this season. There is WAY too much pressure put on from all sides (Les, China, fans). The way Ming is playing, if his team don't even make it into a 16 team playoff system, then if I was the Chinese authority, I would think perhaps this is not so good a team to have Ming play at any longer than neccessary. As for Les, he said this is "THE Group" that can take it all the way. You all know what the fans think.

However, since I don't think the Rockets will make the playoffs...

As they say in the Tower of London "Off with his head"....

I really miss watching the Rox in the playoffs, and it would be nice to see them in the postseason sometime in the near future, but utlimately I'm looking at the big picture. While playoff experience would be good, I just don't see Rudy leading this team to another championship, which should be the ultimate goal. Rudy's sense of strategy is laughable these days and he would repeatedly get out-coached during a playoff series, especially in later rounds of the playoffs (if the Rox were to ever advance). I truly believe Rudy simply doesn't get "it" anymore and it's just time for him to move on.

If rox can get a guard like John Stockton, I don't mind Rudy to stay.

I agree with you that Rudy T probably will let go if the Rockets miss the playoff, but let's get the fact straight before jump the gun.

According to the Chronicle, Rudy T did tell the players to foul on the last play. It was the players who failed to follow the plan.

About Mobley's last shot, didn't he make a game winning shot earlier this season after shooting bricks all night? Mobley should not be the first option with his bad shooting tonight, but you still have to pass the ball to him when he is open. That's the way bball should be played!

The new Hack-a-Shaq rule states you cannot foul a player without ball within TWO minute of the game. It'll be FT + possession.

    Speak for yourself.

And you will have to excuse me if I am not in the mood to bash every single personnel on the Rockets.

**** happens. Hell, with the Rockets **** always happens. But this is Yao's and Steve's first year together. Breaking up the team and firing the coach is not the best way to go.

You want to cheer for a winner then I heard the Laker bandwagone is in full swing again.

Who's bashing every single personnel on the Rox? Not moi. I only want Rudy's head. Is that asking too much? :p
