Well, you should, because we'll have a LOT more games against good teams this year than against bad teams.

well, according to most posters, the entire eastern conference sucks. and since only 8 teams make the playoffs in the west, and we're supposed to be one of them, there should only be 7 "good" teams and 22 bad ones, right A-Train?? so what's our record look like now?

    BTW,

I do understand that the Rockets have beaten teams they are supposed to beat and their schedule has been relatively easy, but 12 games isn't enough to make a judgement on, especially with a new coach, and new system. We have no idea how the team will be playing just ten games from now.

Then why do you they play NBA? They can just use math to decide the positions if what you've said is true.

    Although I don't think you're a moron, at least you're a ignorant. :D

I think he's just being sarcastic. However, I think it's painfully obvious which teams will make the playoffs in the EC.

You have to realize it's tougher to win on the road that it is at home even for the top tier teams. I mean the Rockets were right there to win it at Portland and were there through 3 quarters with Dallas. And they haven't played these top teams at home. Until they lost to top teams at home, then you can start worrying.

This reminds me of Sweetie's prediction for last night's game with the Clippers. She said:

Thats it, heres the truth of what will happen, and feel free to hold me to this for my credibility.

Maggette will HAMMER Mobley. So bad that it will be flat out embaressing and Cats trade value will crash to an alltime low. Quentin Richardson will absolutely go OFF and destroy the rockets with 25+ points and just be killer.

Yao will get swarmed with doubles and turn the ball over like never before, while JVG finally figures out that cato is worthless and puts in Mo taylor for alot of minutes but still with that,Mo still doesnt preduce ,prompting CD and JVG scrambling for a pf via trade. Wilcox will out play both cato and taylor, and Ely will surprisingly outplay Ming(not 1 on 1,but in final pts/rebs)

Dooling will play level with Steve and Jaric will destroy Moochie. The rockets and posters here will be stunned when the rockets get blown out even with no Brand. This in turn will prompt MANY people here to immediately turn against JVG and wish we had hired Chicken Man Dunleavy Sr.

    Im not joking or supersticious,so

As Sweetie requested in the first paragraphy of her post, we are holding this up for her "credibility." I think we need to wait until seaon's end before we do the same for this thread's accuracy.

I'm not sure about that, maybe it's obvious for about 5 of them (Philly, Indy, Detroit, NJ and New Orleans), but the other 3, who knows? They're all so bad.

I guess it doesn't really matter though.

And I thought from the start that this thread was supposed to be sarcastic as well. I'm surprised at the semi-violent reactions to it.
