Seriously, what other guy is terrible at shooting and then in crunch time he hits 'em?

he fits the Rockets beautifully with his low upside, high basketball IQ approach to the game

The worst part about this whole Parsons ordeal is that he is outplaying our lotto rookie Morris and Bud.

I heart him too. If every player was like him, the 24 seconds would expire in every offensive possession. The more he plays, the more he will get the opportunity to shoot, one day he will get the Most Improved Player award with the Rockets (hopefully).

We would also hold other teams to 80 points every night. Parson's is almost perfect for a team full of scorers. If he develops a consistent 3 point shot, he will have a career like Robert Horry minus the 7 rings.

Raptors announcers were impressed at him tonight. First quarter because he's a rookie starting on a winning team. Then 4th quarter, because he made big plays down the stretch--at the right place at the right time. Raptors announcers were genuine in their praise for HOU players.

Second best wing defender in the league and a clutch shooter. I know Kobe has dropped off quite a bit, but I've never seen anyone cover him as well as Parsons does.

I like Parsons D but 2nd best wing defender?

3 on the top of my head. Iggy, Tony Allen, Wallace

Only Lebron is better. That's my stance and I'm sticking to it.

Parsons has a height advantage over all the best perimeter defenders in the league right now.

6'10" with foot speed. He bothers players just by having his hands up.

In fact, I love the calm composure he has when going up against Kobe. Battier has fallen for Kobe's fake many times, I don't recall Parsons ever falling for Kobe's pump fakes.

Lebron is definitely better. Tony Allen is great verses SGs and PGs, but taller players give him fits. Parsons can guard bigger SFs better than Allen. Iggy and Wallace are great as well, but I'm not sure how much better they are than Parsons at this time. They may be more athletic, but their positioning and defensive IQ may not be as good as Parsons. Parsons is almost Battier level in terms of positioning, so keep that in perspective.
