Everyone hating doesn’t have half the skill set this man has. I’m pretty sure like I said before a better coach would do wonders every player has their flaws no matter who ya just gotta support the man after all he’s on a team ya support…
I'm fairly critical of KPJ when he is in iso scoring mode for stretches of games, but I think this is a positive from him. Is it delusional? Yeah, probably so. But, I think the adults in the room just throws the team out there and says. "Let's see what we got". So, KPJ is taking ownership on a team full of kids (not meant to be an insult) Will this matter much in the future? Who knows, but I think taking ownership is a sign of maturity -- whether he is speaking facts or not. At age 23 he is one of the oldest players getting regular minutes. He probably feels like he should be more of a leader. I don't think he has shown on-court leadership qualities so it may be empty words.
uhhh nobody is the correct answer. that's the point. There's no such thing has a leader on a 10 win team. Your team is still searching for that. wanna be fake alphas tell themselves they're something they're actually not that's common sense
Jabari yelling at coach Lucas like he's the man, KPJ calling himself the man...yeah this is quite the egos running wild.
This is definitely what you would want a leader to say. KPJ has shown great maturity. He's come a long way. I hope things work out for him. If not here then elsewhere.
He called him “a leader” not “the leader” Stop hating on the kid. He’s the most consistent player we have
I actually don't see what's controversial about what he said. He has been given the position of PG. He calls the plays. And, he is therefore a leader on the court. We can talk all day about why it shouldn't be that way and how he's performing. But, that's actually the right attitude given the current circumstances.
Sounds like you've never played team sports on any level if you think only good teams have leaders. Like i said, someone had to step up and take on that role, who else would have?
oh look the 70 year old geezer pulls the looks like you've never played team sports on any level card. tell signs of a fake athlete who thinks hes somebody stfu with that nonsense. Like i said the correct answer is there is no actual head honcho or leader. You must have repped some last place teams like kpj if you love what this is. loser.
Having no leader is Stone's fault in terms of team building and Silas' fault as well for being a soft coach. KPJ as a leader is leading us in the wrong direction.
I’ve probably been his number one critic for this, but he has admittedly gotten a little better about it. I think he has improved overall, but he still has a long way to go.
I'm not following along here .... this seems like maturity from KPJ, not a negative that he's holding himself accountable. James Harden - I know what we need to do. KPJ - I got to make sure we prepare and come out the right way and I didn't do that today. That's on me.
