Well to be clear I said that I think he does, as in purely a speculative opinion. Any are welcome to disagree, as I’m sure you do, since you’re a big fan of KPJ. I think the reasoning has been discussed ad nauseam in other threads but the short version is that it’s a combination of what I’ve seen from both players combined with 2nd vs 4th year in the league. I think the likelihood of making that huge leap reduces drastically every year that passes, especially if a player stagnates.
I am not a big fan of KPJ I am decidedly neutral and willing to see how it all works out, I just don't see any reason to kick him off the team or make him a 6th man, what is so hard to understand about that? KPJ does not need to make a huge leap, if he raised his TS% 5 points and lower his TO's by a couple a game he would have all star like numbers I have given 5 guys who have done the exact same thing. People have not actually studied player progressions and have already written off KPJ, he has played under probably the worse conditions you can have as a young PG. He has played less than 200 actual NBA games, why would anybody think he has stagnated?

I don’t want to kick him off the team either. You are quoting me on a post where I was responding to someone who said “if we are getting rid of one then we should keep the guy who is better today.” I was responding to that hypothetical idea. I don’t want him off the team or out of the starting lineup.
